DESCRIPTION
Be part of a mind-blowing, interactive conference & expo where forward-thinking participants from around the world come together in an information exchange to grow businesses through the use of robotics-related technologies.

Robotics Alley™ is an initiative founded by ReconRobotics and the Minnesota High Tech Association meant to spur public-private partnerships in the business, research, and development of world-leading robotics and automation systems. Robotics Alley hosts an annual conference and exposition in Minnesota’s Twin Cities, which is on pace to become one of the world’s leading conferences on robotics and automation.

See what the next generation of roboticists are working on and learn how student competitions embrace excellence for tomorrow’s workforce. This area features student-built robots with demonstrations from FIRST Robotics, FIRST Tech Challenge, FIRST Lego League, and other robotics teams.

CALLING ROBOTICS START-UPS: APPLY TO COMPETE FOR PUBLICITY AND POSSIBLE VENTURE CAPITAL

Fostering technical innovation is a key fundamental for Robotics Alley Conference & Expo. In that spirit, this year’s event will feature our second annual “Invest in Innovation” competition, which offers a chance for tech start-ups to pitch their business plans to a panel of four venture capital judges, gaining publicity and the possibility to secure investment capital.

Qualified applicants should ideally work in robotics, sensors or advanced manufacturing. Robotics Alley staff will narrow submissions to the three finalists who will compete before the judges panel. The top 10 finalists will receive free conference passes.

The three entrepreneur-contestants selected as finalists will make their pitches to the judges during the conference in a live public session open to Robotics Alley attendees. Each presenter group will have 10-12 minutes to make their opening pitch, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session with judges and the audience.
