Integral Plant Maintenance
Integral Plant Maintenance
Siemens
Mercedes-Benz and his partner GAZ chose Siemens to be its maintenance partner at a new engine plant in Yaroslavl, Russia. The new plant offers a capacity to manufacture diesel engines for the Russian market, for locally produced Sprinter Classic. In addition to engines for the local market, the Yaroslavl plant will also produce spare parts. Mercedes-Benz Russia and his partner needed a service partner in order to ensure the operation of these lines in a maintenance partnership arrangement. The challenges included coordinating the entire maintenance management operation, in particular inspections, corrective and predictive maintenance activities, and the optimizing spare parts management. Siemens developed a customized maintenance solution that includes all electronic and mechanical maintenance activities (Integral Plant Maintenance).

SINEMA Server
SINEMA Server
Siemens
The software SINEMA Server V13 was specially developed for industrial applications. It is possible to analyze and observe networks completely by using SNMP for all network components and evaluating SIMATIC and PROFINET assemblies in an automation environment. Collected data is saved in a long-term archive so that it can be evaluated and displayed as required. The determined network diagnosis may additionally be seamlessly integrated via OPC and web mechanisms into HMI/SCADA systems (e.g. WinCC, PCS7).SINEMA Server V13 was specifically developed for industrial applications and provides maximum transparency in industrial networks through automatic topology recognition, constant network monitoring as well as comprehensive diagnostics and reporting functions. Network diagnostics can be easily integrated into HMI/SCADA systems such as WinCC as well as third-party systems.SINEMA Server V13 also offers complete integration of topology into the HMI/SCADA system via web browser. Warnings and error messages can be passed on via the integrated OPC interface.
SIMATIC S7-1200
SIMATIC S7-1200
Siemens
The new modular SIMATIC S7-1200 controller is at the core of our new offering for simple but highly precise automation tasks. The SIMATIC S7-1200 controller is modular and compact, versatile, a secure investment, and is perfectly suited to a whole range of applications. The S7-1200 CPUs with Safety Integrated handle both standard and safety-related tasks. A compact design with integrated IO, communi-cation interfaces that meet the highest industry requirements and a range of powerful integrated technological functions make this controller an integral part of a comprehensive automation solution. The compact SIMATIC S7-1200 system consists of different CPU performance classes: CPU 1211C, CPU 1212C, CPU 1214C, CPU 1215C and CPU 1217C and two failsafe versions CPU 1214FC and CPU 1215FC. Each of these may be expanded according to the machine requirements. The S7-1200 CPUs can be expanded with up to three communication modules (CM) and eight signal modules (SM).Signal modules and signal boards can be integrated in order to expand the digital or analog IOs without affecting the physical size of the controller.Signal modules can be connected to the right side of the CPU to further expand the digital or analog IO capacity. CPU 1212C accepts two, CPU 1215C and CPU 1217C accept eight signal modules. All SIMATIC S7-1200 CPUs can be equipped with up to three communication modules on the left side of the controller – this enables seamless serial communication and the use of various distributed IO devices.
SIMATIC S7-300
SIMATIC S7-300
Siemens
The SIMATIC S7-300 universal Controllers saves on installation space and features a modular design. A wide range of modules can be used to expand the system centrally or to create decentralized structures according to the task at hand, and facilitates a cost-effective stock of spare parts. SIMATIC is known for continuity and quality.- Thanks to their high processing speed, the CPUs enable short machine cycle times.- The S7-300's range of CPUs provides the right solution for every application, and customers only pay for the performance actually required for a specific task- The S7-300 can be set up in a modular configuration without the need for slot rules for I/O modules- There is a wide range of modules available both for the centralized and the distributed configuration with ET 200M.- Integral PROFINET interfaces enable simple networking of the controllers, and simple data exchange with the operations management level- The narrow module width results in a compact controller design or a small control cabinet.- The ability to integrate powerful CPUs with Industrial Ethernet/PROFINET interface, integrated technological functions, or fail-safe designs make additional investments unnecessary.

Teamcenter
Teamcenter
Siemens
Teamcenter provides cross-domain design data management through integrations with the MCAD, ECAD, software development, and simulation tools and processes your design teams use every day. You can manage, find, share and re-use multi-domain data across geographically distributed design centers through a single, secure source of product design and simulation data. You can understand the complex relationships and dependencies between requirements and all the subsystems and design domains across all the possible configurations of the product, even as changes are introduced. You can also create assemblies from parts generated by multiple suppliers that involve complex interactions of subsystems, then prepare and validate the readiness of the design and bill of materials for fabrication, assembly and test.By integrating your current multi-domain design tools with Teamcenter, you can transform otherwise disconnected tools and processes into a single, cross-domain design data management environment that enables you to lower costs, improve quality, and increase design productivity.
