DESCRIPTION

The Arrayent Connect Platform is an Internet of Things platform that enables trusted consumer brands to implement connected products and systems. Arrayent offers an IoT platform, in essence an Internet of Things operating system, hosted in the Internet Cloud. Year founded: 2005

The Arrayent Connect Platform enables consumer product companies to connect their products to the Internet in a low cost, secure and scalable way. Core to Arrayent’s approach is keeping things as things, and resisting the strong temptation to turn a thing into a computer. The reason for that is that no consumer wants to reboot their thermostat, water heater, or gate opener. Arrayent’s philosophy is to keep products simple, and push product complexity to the Cloud.

By shifting complexity into the cloud, Arrayent customers reduce their connected product cost, and at the same time make them more reliable (less software to go wrong), more secure (less software means fewer exposed attack points) and much easier for consumers to install and use.
