Company Description

Founded in 2004 as FS Systems, and now Fisher Smith, we have over 50 combined years of experience of machine vision and Industrial Control Systems. Our knowledge and technical abilities has enabled us to develop two key software products, RoboVis® and GenVis. Written and developed in house by Iain Smith with usability and flexibility in mind, both products have become mature and stable machine vision platforms.

Cognex Corporation is the world leading provider of vision systems, vision software, vision sensors and surface inspection systems used in manufacturing automation. Cognex is also a leader in industrial ID readers. Cognex vision helps companies improve product quality, eliminate production errors, lower manufacturing costs, and exceed consumer expectations for high quality products at an affordable price.
Olympus’ history of innovation and service to humanity go back nearly 100 years, when our company founders in Tokyo introduced our first product, a microscope, in 1920. Since then Olympus has become a global technology leader focused on enhancing people’s lives through innovative solutions in the core business areas of: - Medical and Surgical Products - Scientific Solutions - Cameras and Audio Products

Baraja is a 3D machine vision systems manufacturer. It has invented a new type of LiDAR called Spectrum-Scan which delivers the highest performance available to address the challenge of self-driving cars.

Baraja is a rapidly growing start-up, with a revolutionary LiDAR for self-driving vehicles. The company is based in Sydney, Australia, with offices in China and the USA. It is quickly expanding worldwide, hiring through Europe and Asia, closely collaborating with car manufacturers to iterate and refine its vision of what LiDAR needs to be.

Industry 4.0 has a blind spot: Human beings. It turns out that people still perform up to 90% of factory tasks. Even in an age of robotics and IIoT, people are the main contributor to value-and, alas, to variability. Unfortunately, techniques for measuring human effectiveness haven't materially changed in a century. They remain manual and impossible to perform at scale. People are effectively invisible to analytics. Drishti (Sanskrit for "vision") solves this problem using what may be the world's first commercial application of action recognition to digitize human activities on the assembly line. Drishti creates a massive new dataset that enables true Digital Transformation for manufacturers while simultaneously making line workers more competitive against automation. Our mission is to "extend human potential in an increasingly automated world", starting with this 100-year-old problem in the $12T global manufacturing industry.
ThunderSoft is a provider of operating system technologies, superior products and solutions, experts in mobile, IoT, automotive, and enterprise. Headquartered in Beijing and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZ: 300496). It has established strong partnerships with the world-leading technology companies, including semiconductors, components, terminal devices, and software and Internet providers, as well as mobile carriers, bringing the company a unique vertical integration advantage in creating high-quality intelligent devices. ThunderSoft has more than 30 R&D centers and offices in China and a global presence in Germany, Ukraine, Finland, Bulgaria, Japan, South Korea, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Canada, and the U.S.
IoT Solutions
Cognex machine vision and barcode reading tools enable companies around the world to improve assembly verification, eliminate defects, automate production and identify challenging barcodes reliably across a wide range of industries and applications.

Spectrum-Scan™ LiDAR

Baraja LiDAR connects a wavelength-tuneable laser (“Engine”) to prism-like optics (“Sensorheads”) using robust optic fiber cable. When light reaches the optics, it is naturally deflected in different directions: no rotating lasers or moving mirrors required.

By changing the color – or wavelength – of the laser, the system can scan different angles instantaneously, with unparalleled detail and adaptability.

Our core innovation: action recognition Drishti has built a new deep learning architecture that uniquely parses streams of video to generate real-time analytics on highly variable human actions. Put simply, Drishti can recognize activities being performed as the operator performs them, even if Drishti has never observed that operator before. Drishti is the only company in the world commercializing action recognition specifically for manufacturing, and one of the very few working with the technology in any industry. Beyond action recognition: our full stack Action recognition is just part of the solution. Drishti’s vertically integrated manufacturing solution extends end-to-end: from capturing video to creating data to providing applications, data services and workflow support for line operators, supervisors, engineers and more.
Thundersoft sees technology as the core competitiveness. From the beginning, excellent resource has been being invested for OS technology research in areas of System Optimization, UE Enhancement, Security, etc., most of which have been conclude into IP owned by Thundersoft. Those technologies are relevant to Mobile/Automotive/HW and can bring high performance, rich experience and differentiation for customers.
