我们面临的挑战是找到一种简单、安全且高效的方式让客人通过手机访问租赁物业。传统的物理钥匙方法带来了几个问题。例如，丢失钥匙的风险、再次剪钥匙或请锁匠带来的不便，以及丢失钥匙的安全影响。此外，业主必须在场将钥匙交给客人，这并不总是可行，尤其是对于短期租赁。我们需要一种解决方案，消除对物理钥匙的需求，并允许客人在业主不在场的情况下进入房屋。
解决方案
Smarterkey 由 David 和 Simon Moss 兄弟于 2012 年创立，针对这一挑战提出了创新的解决方案。他们开发了一款移动应用程序，用户只需发送短信即可打开前门。业主将其租赁预订上传到 Smarterkey 访客访问控制平台，该平台安全地托管在云端。当房客抵达房源办理入住手续时，他们可以使用 Smarterkey 移动应用程序打开房主的房门，无需房主在场。该应用程序使用 Twilio 的双向短信功能，在云端提供智能且安全的短信验证系统。该解决方案不仅简化了租赁房产的出入流程，还增强了房产的安全性。
